Rod McKend qualified as a solicitor in 1999. He graduated with a LLB Bachelor of Law from Newcastle University and also attended the University of Paris. Prior to that, he benefited from a variety of occupations in a number of diverse fields. Post qualification he has worked in a number of different areas of law and held numerous supervisory roles over many years whilst as a Partner at a large Newcastle based firm.
